Chef and restaurateur Matt Moran’s Barangaroo House has finally opened on the edge of Sydney’s waterfront district.
Collins and Turner architects had designed the three-tiered building with each level shaped like wide bowls. The building houses three venues over three levels that offers a wide array of casual and fine dining choices.
The building is clad in charred timber and is framed in greens, with plants growing around the edge in planters on each level. This makes it a new, eye-catching landmark, with an organic feel in contrast to the glass skyscrapers of the nearby CBD.
