Lendlease has plans for a second wooden commercial building to be constructed at Barangaroo, desiged by Tzannes Associates who also worked on International House.
The new tower will include 10,000 square metres of office space over six floors above ground-floor retail.
The cross-laminated timber is an innovative material that can reduce construction costs.
If approved, the new building will be the sixth timber tower that Lendlease has built in Australia.
