Redfining spaces: how Downstream is designing public spaces underpinned by technology

Downstream's design and technology is changing the way we experience corporate contexts and public spaces.

Immersive spaces filled with digital design is emerging as a new way to interact with customers. For example, PwC's 'Welcome Wall' (pictured) is used as a digital concierge filled with vibrant media designs. The aim is to bring to life information.

Similarly, Suncorp's Pitt Street Mall store explores this interactivity with a 7x2 metre wall displaying smart information.

Design director at Downstream Jason Culverwell states, "It's hard to forecast what the future of the office will be, but there will be layers of technology alongside an obsession with design thinking that clients are really catching on to. More broadly, it is going to be informed by the response to emerging technology."
