MANETTAS SYDNEY CBD BUILDING POPULAR

The Nick Manettas-owned building at 61 York Street, Sydney, has seen the most leasing activity in Sydney CBD's western corridor so far in 2014.

According to Ray White Commercial's John Skufris and Anthony Harris, there have been four whole floor leasing transactions completed with a limited selection of leasing opportunities left.

Mr Skufris said the building proved popular for a wide range of tenants.

"We have received good interest from serviced office, insurance, digital marketing and software groups seeking fitted and furnished space or refurbished premises,” he said.

Mr Harris said: "Tenants love having a whole floor of their own which is a rare commodity for small tenancies, having a quality cafe on the ground floor and a bar in the basement appeals to everyone."

Leading internet service company Rakuten Linkshare has leased 151.90 sqm at Level 4, 61 York Street, at an initial rent of $625 per sqm per annum. The lease term was for two years.

“The premises offered workstations, executive office, boardroom, server room, “storage, own amenities and an exclusive use balcony,” Mr Harris said.

Nick Manettas is the founder of Sydney waterfront dining venues including Nick's Seafood and Nick's Bar & Grill.
