$3bn Circular Quay Tower set to be Deloitte’s New HQ

The accounting firm will establish its new headquarters in Quay Quarter Tower in Circular Quay. Taking a 10-year lease over approximately 32,000 sq m of space, Deloitte will become the anchor tenant in AMP Capital’s $3 billion tower.

Quay Quarter Tower, located at 50 Bridge Street, is owned by investors in the AMP Capital Diversified Property Fund (ADPF), AMP Capital Wholesale Office Fund (AWOF) and Rest, who will acquire a one-third interest in the tower when finished.

The construction on the Tower commenced after securing a $900 million investment from the super fund platform Rest in April of last year. The 200-metre-tall tower by Multiplex is due for completion in early 2022.

The Quay Quarter Tower, which spans two city block including 33 Alfred Street and the Loftus Lane, is designed by Danish architects 3XN. The tower’s lobby interiors are by London architect Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio. On the other hand, the Market Hall is designed by AvroKo of New York.

It was March of last year when the accounting firm Deloitte issued the largest request for office accommodation on Sydney market ranging from 30,000 sq m to 35,000 sq m of space.
