WeWork continues expansion in Sydney with a lease in the CBD

WeWork has announced further expansion into Sydney and has secured 3,600 square metres of flexible workspace amenity in over five floors at the HCF building, 64 York Street in the CBD.

It will be WeWork’s fifth location in Sydney after the announcement last month of its fourth site at 383 George Street.

“We are very excited to announce 64 York Street at the second of two new sites in as many weeks that aligns with our Sydney expansion strategy,” said John Kearins, WeWork Australia senior director of real estate.

He adds, “64 York Street allows WeWork exposure to another historied, iconic CBD location, in a building that will provide great value to our members.

“The close proximity of this new site to our current WeWork locations is testament to the high demand we are experiencing in the Sydney market.”

WeWork’s other locations are at 333 George Street, 5 Martin Place and 100 Harris Street, Pyrmont.
