The GPT Group is establishing more co-working facilities in Melbourne as the trend continues to grow, led by WeWork.
GPT will have a third facility at 8 Exhibition Street under Space&Co which is a flexible workplace company.
The space will be open in the first half of this year and take up the whole of level 22 which spans across 1568 square metres. This will allow for approximately 200 people.
GPT intends to continue expanding its hubs and business as the demand increases for flexible workspaces.
"Although there has been a significant increase in competition, what the likes of WeWork has done is increase the awareness of what co-working is, which has, in turn fed the adoption by big corporates for taking up this kind of space," GPT's head of flexible workspace solutions Daniel Stiffe said.
WeWork now has three facilities in Sydney with its first space in Melbourne last year.
