Value of office tower deals hits $17.4b

In 2017, Savills Australia found that the total value of commercial office deals reached a significant $17.4 billion. Furthermore, foreign investors made up the majority of buyers and sellers.

This is the second largest recorded year, with $18 billion of office deals in 2015. 

Almost half of the deals last year were from NSW, including Hong Kong toy maker Franis Choi's deals totalling $5.3 billion of Sydney's 20 Bridge Street and 1 Castlereagh Street.
