Pitt Street Metro Station Development Moves Forward

Plans for a mixed-use commercial and residential development above Pitt Street metro station in Sydney move into the next stage, setting the CBD up for a major transformation.

Two separate development applications have been submitted for the north and south train station entrances to the Pitt Street Metro Station. The process has now moved to the community consultation stage.

The north site proposal consists of a 43-storey mixed-use tower which could comprise up to 1,500 sqm of office space and up to 300 apartments, or up to 200 hotel rooms. The Pitt Street South development proposes a maximum 35-storey building, which will integrate with the metro station below and consist of up to 16,250 sqm of office space, or up to 159 residential apartments.
