Sydney’s historic heartland of The Rocks is not only a key tourist destination but an increasingly popular location for business, according to Ray White Commercial.
Ray White Commercial Office Leasing Director John Skufris said the local business centre at 88 Cumberland Street, The Rocks, had been the source of a number of recent office leasing transactions.
Mr Skufris said Government Property NSW had taken out a five year lease for approximately 2,140 sqm of contiguous office space on Levels 1 & 2 at 88 Cumberland Street at an initial gross rental of $740 per sqm per annum.
“Owned by Cumberland Street Developments, 88 Cumberland Street is a five level building with parking and shower facilities,” Mr Skufris said.
“It is centrally located in The Rocks precinct near Argyle Street. 88 Cumberland Street’s former occupants include the Department of Immigration.
“88 Cumberland Street offers fitted office space overlooking Cumberland Street and the leafy Gloucester Walk. The building’s whole floors provide views towards Circular Quay.
There is still a limited selection of office suites from approximately 100 sqm to 250 sqm currently marketed for lease by Ray White Commercial.
Mr Skufris added: “88 Cumberland Street offers convenience to Circular Quay with the availability of plug and play furnished suites and flexible lease terms.”
