NEW LIFE FOR COMPANY DIRECTOR HOUSE

The ground floor of an historic Victorian era building in the Sydney CBD’s western corridor has been transformed to attract professional service industry tenants.

Company Director House at 71 York Street, Sydney, is a six storey building that was built in the 1880s and its sandstone façade provides a commanding presence.

Ray White Commercial Office Leasing Directors John Skufris and Jeremy Piggin have recently leased approximately 275 sqm on the ground floor of the building.

Mr Skufris said the space was formerly a salon and day spa operation equipped with reception/waiting area, basins, bath and shower facilities, treatment rooms and two mezzanine areas.

“The property was transformed with the entire fit out removed, the ceilings exposed and the original timber floors sanded back to offer a strata-titled character space,” he said.

Mr Piggin said the renovated office space has been leased by advertising company The One Centre Group.

The lease term is for five years with a gross annual rental of approximately $162,250 per annum gross, excluding GST.
