SYDNEY CBD'S SPANISH KINGS

The Drivas Property Group-owned building at 86 Liverpool Street in the heart of the Sydney CBD Spanish quarter is now fully leased, according to Ray White Commercial.

Ray White Commercial Office Leasing Director John Skufris said the five level building on the corner of Liverpool and Kent streets had become a highly sought after location following a major refurbishment.

“86 Liverpool Street has been a success story for its owners and for the southern Sydney CBD,” Mr Skufris said.

“We have seen tenants relocate to 86 Liverpool St from surrounding buildings within close walking distance so we know the location is still proving popular.”

Mr Skufris said following the comprehensive building upgrade, four whole floors of office space plus three ground floor retail opportunities across two street frontages were available.

“The upgrade included repositioning the main lobby, the installation of a brand new passenger lift, adding an additional floor, new ducted air conditioning throughout and rendering the external façade,” he said.

“The additional benefits to tenants at 86 Liverpool St include the proximity to World Square and Chinatown as well as the Town Hall railway station and the monorail.”

New tenants in the building include bakery café chain Pie Face and Health Consult, a consulting firm which aims to improve the quality of health services to Australians.

Health Consult secured the last remaining tenancy for lease on Level 3 through Mr Skufris.

“Level 3, 86 Liverpool St offered approximately 154 sqm with its own amenities including shower facilities, natural light from two sides and intercom access,” he said.

The lease term for Health Consult is approximately three years with an option for a further two years at an initial gross rental of $75,000 per annum.
